Sadly, there’s no word on when the subscription will be available on Xbox, but when that happens, Xbox players will get access to the latest games on day one, premium editions, DLC, season passes, and access to over 100 Ubisoft titles on Xbox. Ubisoft also announced that their subscription service, Ubisoft+, will be coming to Xbox “in the future.” Right now, the service is only available on PC, Amazon Luna, and Stadia, so this adds in a lot of people. With 18 operators to choose from and a variety of unique gadgets and weapons at their disposal, players will need to communicate and think tactically to take on their otherworldly adversaries and safely extract their captured teammates. Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-operative PVE experience that places players in the shoes of well-known Rainbow Six Siege operators with up to three friends, facing off against a mysterious alien menace that threatens life on Earth. That’s not the only news to come from Ubisoft though. The ‘REACT’ team is now yours to play alongside and it’s time to make your mark on the latest Rainbow Six experience. In addition, Rainbow Six Siege (which is already available on Xbox Game Pass) will be added to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on the same day. Rainbow Six Extraction has officially launched and players have been making their way to the vast ecosystem of new experiences to uncover and Archaean hordes to slay. As long as you’re a subscriber to one of those services, you’ll be able to jump in on the fun starting January 20. In order to play Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Extraction via PC Game Pass, gamers will need more than just the usual Game Pass application. It was recently announced that Rainbow Six Extraction available day one on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass members. "And because Rainbow Six Siege will be on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass as well, the Rainbow Six community and fans of tactical shooters will have plenty to look forward to playing together, no matter where they play.Ubisoft just made a lot of Rainbow Six players happy. "With Rainbow Six Extraction, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members are getting another blockbuster added to their library on the same day the title launches," said Sarah Bond, Corporate Vice President, Game Creator Experience and Ecosystem at Xbox. Ultimately, we will offer the Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox owners so that they can enjoy the full extent of our Ubisoft+ game library, including new releases, on their consoles." "Rainbow Six Extraction for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members is just the beginning. "By making Rainbow Six Extraction available to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members on the day and date of its launch via Xbox Game Pass, we're demonstrating that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players," said Chris Early, Ubisoft's Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development. Ubisoft did not say when exactly it will launch on Xbox, but did confirm Ubisoft+ will be a separate subscription from Game Pass when it does. Rainbow Six: Extraction is a tactical first-person shooter that allows friends to form a squad of up to three players or play solo fighting off what’s described as an unpredictable player. Ubisoft+, which includes access to more than 100 Ubisoft games for a single monthly cost, launched first on PC. Meanwhile, Ubisoft said its Ubisoft+ subscription service is coming to Xbox.
